Rockers Galore
Rockers Galore are set to release their 2nd full length album. For the past four years Rockers Galore have been honing and perfecting their new material, while tracking the album in various locations throughout Philadelphia and the Dominican Republic. Mixed by Tommy Joyner of Milkboy Studios and Michael Piptone, Rocker's latest album promises a mix of uplifting political anthems and straight from the heart love songs, courtesy of band leader and virtuoso Blayer Point-du-jour.

Style Weekly recently asked the legendary HR of Bad Brains if there were any bands out today that reminded him of the Brains. “There’s this group called Rebelmatic,“ was his response. Certainly high praise for a band that recently came off tour with Fishbone’s Angelo Moore. “Rebelmatic brings out the automatic rebel in you,” Moore stated of his tourmates.
Kool A.D. (Das Racist). When asked about the band, “Rebelmatic is the shit! Fuck with them,” was Kool A.D.’s only reply. Rebelmatic sounds like James Brown in a Mosh Pit

JJX is an uncompromising rock band from Philadelphia, PA whose genre bending sound and energetic live shows have hooked audiences across the nation. The JJX sound is an addictive fusion that blurs the lines between rock, funk, blues, and metal, forging a raw, soul-driving sound with Joe on guitar and vocals and Barbara Duncan on drums . Since it's inception in 2007 the band has had the privilege of working alongside a myriad of acclaimed artists (Living Colour, Erykah Badu, Eric Gales, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Akrobatik, The Memorials), self-released their debut EP “Twisted Visions” (available at all major online retailers) and booked tours independently, culminating in appearances at Juneteenth Fest, Utah Arts Fest , Sundance Film Fest, Freedomfest , AfroPunk Fest, CBS News, CBGB Festival and most recently SXSW . Check your local listings so you too can experience JJX!
