Brick + Mortar
Brick + Mortar
Brick + Mortar represent the underground, the oppressed, the disillusioned, and voiceless. Fusing driving percussion, grooving bass, eclectic samples, and anthemic vocals creates a new world sound that is so fresh you truly need to hear it for yourself. Their live show is a party that erupts like a magnetic sonic volcano catching the attention of everyone in the room, drawing them to the stage full of intrigue and energy. It's hard to really put it into words. Words never do them justice. You need to experience it on your own.
Thrills
The Moms
The Moms
No, they have no children. They do not even possess the organs necessary to bear children. In spite of their name, The Moms identify as a power trio, whose long history of making music together has nurtured a powerful, exciting sound. Officially formed in 2011, The Moms are a permutation of suburban New Jersey kids who have been making music since their elementary school years. What began as a reuniting of creative minds in a New Brunswick closet, quickly evolved into a national D.I.Y. touring act hell bent on their "ride or die" attitude. In 5 short years, The Moms have garnered a loyal fan base, playing hundreds of shows all over the U.S., including tours to Canada and Japan. The band has captivated their small-venue audiences with an impressive delivery of their own rock-punk blend. With only a short catalog (released by Panic State Records and Paper & Plastick Records), The Moms have already established themselves as a band with staying power - delivering ear-worms in a manner seldom seen in the recent past. Those familiar with The Moms are, with great anticipation, awaiting what music the band has to offer in 2016 with their recent signing to Bar/None Records.
St James & The Apostles
St James & The Apostles
A slightly different spin on the "Power Trio" formula. Influenced more by The Doors guitar/organ-keyboard bass/drums sound and less by the standard Cream guitar/bass/drums archetype, the sound of this group could be best summed up as The Doors' "Strange Days" meets Black Flag's "My War", or "Saucerful of Secrets" era-Pink Floyd meets Mudhoney. In essence, a cross between the raw power of garage rock, grunge and punk, and the strange ethereal qualities of psychedelia. A style dubbed by one fan as "Psychedelic Stomp".

What actually brought these 3 together, other than the fact that they are cousins, is the simultaneous collapse of all of their previous musical projects. Jamie is best known for being a founding member of The Three 4 Tens, as well as stints in Marah, Asteroid #4, Mondo Topless, and others. Mike, also spent some time in The Three 4 Tens, as well as playing in various groups in Northeast Philadelphia. Jeff played in various groups in and around Asbury Park, NJ.
