Orion Tango
Orion Tango
Made up by the distinct alchemy of guitarist Tim Motzer, bassist Barry Meehan, and drummer Jeremy Carlstedt—create magic out of thin air. Their second album, The Apple of No, is an adventure in music and sound, and incomprehensible unity. The band's sonic palette is that of a progressive rock power trio, but one that creates genre-defying sonic landscapes and mutated symphonies utilizing their instruments augmented with electronics. The members of Orion Tango have been playing together for over 20 years and their resumes are filled with credentials some musos would lust for. The new album was recorded at WXPN studios to a live studio audience. This band travels, it takes chances, it jumps off of musical cliffs and lands on it's feet. The Apple of No, like debut, is one to experience, and the band, Orion Tango, is one to witness.
