"Smash Joan Jett together with Iggy Pop, and you've just created Soraia's lead, ZouZou Mansour. The band Soraia is born from raw power, fiery passion for rock n' roll music, and relentless, unconquerable spirit. Well known for their spitfire live performances, they've most recently had a #1 hit in South America with their version of The Kinks' "(I'm Not) Like Everybody Else" from their last record. Garnering the interest of major rock icons and producers along the way, Soraia will continue burning a fire into new fans' hearts with their upcoming release, "Less Than Zero".
The Good Excuses
From Willow Grove, Pa, this band's stage wardrobe commonly consists of underwear, funk socks, space helmets, and whatever dirty rock shirts they find laying around Their music is flawlessly tight, creating a unique sound, but hinting at some elements of the 90's alternative grunge scene.
The Droogettes
The Droogettes were formed by Philadelphia area based musicians: Rachel Starlett and Jen Reiling in the fall of 2012. The Droogette's vision was clear from day one, to provide the Punk and Oi! movement with an all-female alternative to a scene that is mostly dominated by males. Taking the song by 7 Seconds "Not Just Boys Fun" literally, these girls wanted to provide a voice, not just for a generation, but with a female's outlook and perception. With their image inspired from the film "A Clockwork Orange", these girls play Punk & Oi! influenced by bands like The Business, The Oppressed, Blitz and Cock Sparrer. These Oi! influenced ladies currently have released a debut cd on Creep Records and a split 7" with Scotland's External Menace on Rebel Sound Records with a soon to be released 7" on the German label Shout Proud Records. With the addition of newest members, Elija and Jamie the band has captured new life and is it's strongest ever. The Droogettes are out to prove they can rock as well as their male peers.
